What you need to know before you sign up for dental insurance.

The new policy covers up to $6,000 for emergency and dental treatment and up to an additional $6.50 for a medical checkup, but coverage is not comprehensive.

Coverage does not cover basic dental care, such as a dentist visit or an x-ray.

In a statement, Health Canada said it is working with insurance companies to “work out a common set of terms for dental coverage in the Marketplace”.

“For the first time, Canadians will be able to purchase dental insurance at the same time they buy coverage for basic dental services,” Health Minister Jane Philpott said in the statement.

“The legislation is expected to be passed in the coming days.”

The insurance industry is hopeful that the change will help bring down costs for dental care in the marketplace, and could encourage consumers to shop around for their insurance.

“The government has always said dental insurance is an important part of any plan,” said John MacLennan, president of the Canadian Association of Dental Plans.

“This legislation is a welcome step in that direction.”

Health Canada has said that people who are eligible for dental plans should be able buy coverage online or at the doctor’s office.

In some cases, it is not possible to buy dental insurance on the same day as a medical appointment, and health insurance companies may choose to offer coverage in multiple increments of time.

For example, a dental plan might be available for a month or a year and require that patients take care of their dental care after a specific time period.

The plan also may offer coverage for a short period after a health event.

The insurance companies could also offer an unlimited amount of coverage to a person, or set limits on how much coverage they would cover.

Health Canada said that if there is a significant increase in the number of people who need treatment for a specific ailment, the policy may not be appropriate.
