If you’re using your own domain name, you can change the domain to anything you want, including your own name.
Ix, for instance, is the name of the internet service provider that provides Internet access.
If your company is a public company, you may have to give them a special permission to use your domain name (see the next section).
ICANN can’t tell you anything about the ownership of your domain, and it can’t grant you permission to make changes to the name.
That means you need to think about the security of your own data, such as your passwords, and the security and privacy of your company’s network.
